Fire protection work on the new state-of-the-art 6-story children's hospital, clinic and central energy plant included 37 wet suppression systems, 3 dry systems, and 1 pre-action system. Grunau installed a sapphire clean agent fire suppression system for the data center, and 11 standpipes supplied by a new 1000 gpm variable frequency drive fire pump. 4300 sprinkler heads supported the combined 41 systems.
